The TB Infection Control Plan Template For Jails (TB ICP) was created to assist jail facilities develop and implement a comprehensive infection control plan. The product is available in limited quantities in print and CD-ROM format. Product order information is provided below. A complete set of the TB ICP materials is also available on-line.
The TB ICP will enable jail and public health staff to:

Develop comprehensive and facility-specific infection control policies and procedures for TB

Obtain model procedures and tools for TB control

Establish a process for communication and collaboration among jail and public health department staff responsible for implementing TB infection control procedures

Educate persons responsible for developing the jail’s TB ICP about essential components of a plan
The TB ICP contains 20 policies and procedures, along with supporting resources, references and definitions, which can be modified for local use.
