• To contribute to the achievement of the goal of "Health For All" as enunciated in "The National Health Policy of  India"

  • To promote and propagate Government policies and programs in health sector by generating public awareness and community participation.

  • To act as a forum for generating debate on Health and related developmental needs of all the sections and regions of the country so as to assist in formulation of need based and community friendly programmes.

  • To take up specific and identified interventional projects in selected areas for promotion of health status of sections of community with focus on economically weaker sections of our society.

  • To strengthen "Rational use of Drugs Movement" by educating medical practitioners through workshops and training programmes , designing and distribution of IEC materials and carrying out field and operational research.

  • To work towards popularising Directly Observed Treatment Short-course (DOTS) strategy amongst health care providers and Indian public and to extend a helping hand for the success of Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program  (RNTCP) launched by Government Of India.

  • To network and collaborate with other government and inter government and voluntary organizations to achieve its objectives.

  • To network and collaborate with Governments of other countries and its organizations , voluntary and inter government to achieve its objectives.
